What it does
Press start. RevMETER reads the sound level while you run the bike and gives you the minimum, the average and the peak across the whole run, rather than one number from one moment that proves nothing.
It keeps your last twenty measurements on the phone, and nowhere else. Pick the standard you want to be judged against, whether that is the WHO health guideline, the European limit, or India's own tiers by engine capacity, and the reading tells you where you sit against it.
Calibrate once against a real SPL meter and you are measuring instead of guessing. Set the distance from the exhaust and the offset for your bike and it stays set.
It is accurate to about a decibel once calibrated, and it is not a legal instrument. If an officer is holding a meter, theirs is the number that counts. This one is so you already know what they will find.
